Front of House Role - Two Days a Week
Job Title: Front of House
Location: 46 The Calls, Leeds, LS2 7EY
Hours: Two days per week (tbc specifically which days), 8:30am – 5:15pm with one hour unpaid lunch
From time to time, you will be offered additional days to work (i.e. holiday cover)
Wages: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour, paid monthly
Start Date: August 2026
Role Overview
The Front of House is responsible for supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the workplace, ensuring a professional, welcoming and well-organised environment for tenants, visitors and colleagues.
The role includes day to day administrative tasks assigned by other members of the team.
Front of House Responsibilities
- Welcome tenants, visitors and contractors in a professional and friendly manner
- Act as a first point of contact for visitors, tenants and general enquiries
- Manage reception and Front of House areas to ensure they remain tidy, organised and always welcoming
- Respond to telephone calls, emails and general enquiries professionally and efficiently
- Manage visitor sign-in procedures and support building access arrangements where required
- Handle incoming and outgoing post, deliveries and courier arrangements
- Support tenants with general day-to-day queries and escalate issues where appropriate
- Support the day-to-day coordination of facilities and office operations
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers and service providers where required (providing access in the building etc)
- Report maintenance issues and assist with coordinating repairs or facilities requests
- Support meeting room preparation and general office organisation
- Monitor and maintain office, kitchen and workplace supplies
- Support workplace health & safety processes and general office standards
- Assist in maintaining a clean, professional and well-presented working environment
Administrative Support
- Assist in maintaining accurate records, files and internal systems
- Assist with preparing documents, reports and correspondence where required
- Support the wider team with general administrative duties
- Ensure confidential and sensitive information is handled appropriately
Additional Duties
- Support the security of the building by following opening and closing procedures where required, ensuring that premises are left secure at the end of the working day and reporting any concerns or issues appropriately.
Professional Standards
- Maintain a professional standard of appearance and dress appropriate to the working environment
- Provide a welcoming and professional experience for tenants, visitors and colleagues
- Remain attentive and professional whilst carrying out Front of House duties
- Keep personal phone use to a minimum during working time
- Avoid eating in customer-facing areas
- Contribute to maintaining a tidy, organised and welcoming environment
Skills & Experience – Essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and approachable manner
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Competent in Microsoft Office and general IT system
Skills & Experience – Desirable
- Previous Front of House, reception, facilities or office administration experience
- Or hospitality experience and you are keen to learn in an office environment (whilst being client facing)
